This is a standalone preview of ONE new feature added to the already-live Chart Studio module
on the seller dashboard — it is not wired into the live dashboard yet and does not
touch any client-facing page. Real sold-comp data, pulled read-only from our own MLS sold-comp
database (Howard County, MD). Click a line or a legend chip to isolate it, same interaction as
the existing Seasonal view.
What this closes: on 2026-08-11 you asked for charts that “allow us to group by
certain fields, such as the type of house or parking vs. no parking… so we can have the
lines overlay one another for real insights and perspective.” The engine behind this has
supported that since 8/15 (council-passed, self-tested); it just wasn’t reachable from the
chart you actually see. This preview is that path, end to end.
Parking vs. no-parking (your literal example) is NOT included here — checked the
raw data first: 91.7% of sold-comp rows have no parking-spaces value recorded at all, so grouping
on it would silently mislabel the majority of sales as “No Parking” when we simply
don’t know. Property Type, Style, and Bedrooms are offered instead — all ~100% populated.

Toggle “Continuous” / “Seasonal” on this one — those two views are
byte-for-byte what’s live now. “By Group” only appears on a chart that actually has groups.
